I came to meditation out of necessity, not curiosity.
I lost my mother when I was in my early twenties, and years later, my sister to cancer. Grief has a way of demanding that you either find stillness or get consumed by the noise. I chose stillness. It was slow and imperfect, but what I found on the other side of that resistance changed everything.
A daily practice didn't just help me survive the hard seasons — it became the foundation for the life I actually wanted to build. It grounds me when I'm overwhelmed, and it quietly strengthens the things I love most: my relationship with my husband, the way I show up for my son, and the ongoing work of loving myself without conditions.
Pears Well exists because I believe everyone deserves access to that kind of inner steadiness. I welcome you to experience the quieter kind of inner work — reflective spoken essays, short guided meditations, and poetic reflections on the everyday struggles of being human.
